Last year I reduced my Q4 Great Anticipations to three (to give myself a chance to catch up.) Not this year though. The autumn catalogues are bursting with good things, and I’m going to need plenty of distractions (as I doubt I’ll be escaping the Scottish winter this year.)
So here are six that will definitely be making their way to my shelves in the next 3 months. Bottom row is dedicated to German Literature releases …. just in case you’re looking for something to read in November. 😉 (Although the Keun isn’t released until December.)
Ooooh – there are at least two on there calling to me!
Which?
Cutting Edge and the Keun!
Thought so! Mind they are intriguing ….
Have read and reviewed Fitzek and Norek (not necessarily these books) and I really like Erpenbeck and Keun, so these are all rather attractive to me…
Norek is new to me. Came to my attention at the most excellent Noirwich Noir. Brilliant event with his translator Nick Caistor.
